R-Squared Construction is a general contracting company based in Lethbridge, proudly serving businesses, and institutions across Southern Alberta. Our reputation comes from being easy to work with and committed to delivering results our clients feel confident in.
Shaped by Years of Experience
Before founding R-Squared Construction, owner Rob Ress spent more than two decades working at RBG Construction under former owner Bruce Gillett. Over those years, Rob held key roles as a foreman and later as a superintendent, project manager and estimator, building strong relationships with clients, trades, and local architects.
When Bruce chose to retire, Rob was encouraged to carry forward the relationships, the team, and the standard of workmanship they were known for. R-Squared Construction was established in 2025 with that continuity in mind. While the name is new, the experience, approach, and commitment to quality come from many years of working with the same trusted people and clients.

Robert Ress
President
Robert Ress is the owner of R-Squared Construction and a lifelong resident of Lethbridge and Southern Alberta. He has built his career over more than 30 years in commercial construction, backed by earlier experience in residential work and a long-standing passion for building and woodworking. Rob is well known for his honest approach, strong reputation in the trade, and commitment to delivering quality work while staying closely involved with clients, consultants, and crews from start to finish.
